Best described as a half-shoe the Pirouette II offers the best of both worlds. Soft leather encases the forefoot while the open heel provides the benefits of barefoot dancing. 2 pre-sewn elastics around the sides and under the arch of the foot keep your shoe from moving. Suede ballet sole patch. Best used as a performance shoe, if you're wanting something a little more durable for studio work check out the H063W Sophia Lucia Turning Pointe 55.
